Today also marks 25 years since the infamous Bash at the Beach 2000 pay-per-view, where Hulk Hogan won the WCW World Title from Jeff Jarrett after Jarrett lay down in the middle of the ring to allow Hogan to pin him. This led Vince Russo to come out and “fire” Hogan live on air. Also, Happy Birthday to Johnny B. Badd himself, Marc Mero. Mero has an autobiography that came out earlier this year, and you can check it out here!

Tony Khan Gives Update On Britt Baker’s AEW Status & Injured ROH Champion Red Velvet

During the AEW All In: Texas media call, Tony Khan addressed the absence of Britt Baker from TV, stating that the decision to do so is not because she wants to leave the company, but that he’s rotating his top stars “like a sports team”. Khan also spoke about ROH Women’s TV Champion Red Velvet’s injury, and that she will be unable to compete on Friday’s Supercard of Honor show and that they will crown an interim champion soon.

WWE NXT Great American Bash Card Finalised

The NXT Great American Bash card has been finalised with 2 new matches added to the show’s line-up on last night’s episode of NXT, as Ricky Saints won his number one contender’s gauntlet match to earn his shot at Ethan Page’s North American Title, and a grudge match between Je’Von Evans and Jasper Troy was also added to the card.

Bray Wyatt Story Coming to WWE 2K25 With Never-Before-Seen Content

A Bray Wyatt-centred DLC is being added to WWE 2K25 with a storyline being added that explores the legacy of the Wyatt Family. A report stated that the DLC will feature never-before-seen footage of Bray and will also include full-length video content from Uncle Howdy and Bo Dallas.

Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch’s Beach Home Burglarized

Yesterday, at around 3:00am, it was reported that Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were the victims of a burglary, as TMZ reported that the couple’s Playa Del Rey home was broken into by suspects who used the rear sliding door of their home. Neither of them was home at the time of the robbery, as they were both in Rhode Island, as they were involved in the episode of Raw that took place on Monday.
