By Garth Holmberg on 7 July 2025

Alexa Bliss on Royal Rumble Return
According to Little Miss Bliss, the WWE Superstar’s Royal Rumble return was a last minute call, and definitely not WWE working the internet and making the basement dwellers look like geeks for misreporting things.
Tony Khan Has High Praise for Good Ol’ J.R.
AEW kingpin Tony Khan considers the Hall of Fame broadcaster an indispensable part of All Elite Wrestling. Ross has been part of AEW’s broadcast team since the company launched in 2019, but has missed time with health struggles in recent years.
YouTube Spotlight: WWE’s Junior Division
One of those “blink and you’ll miss it” eras in the WWE. The Juniors Division launched in the Fall of 2005 exclusive to the Smackdown brand, and was immediately forgotten about by 99% of the world. It did give us brief glimpses of Super Porky hanging around on WWE TV, so if there was a memory to cherish, I guess that’s the best we can do.
In the world of Major League Baseball, the New York Yankees have hit a miserable slide that has seen their stranglehold on first place in the AL East vanish, and now they’re resting firmly behind the heroes of the galaxy, the Toronto Blue Jays. The Washington Natinals are a dumpster fire, having fired their GM and Manager to solve their woes. The Phillies and Mets are jockeying for first in the NL East, with less than 2 games the difference between them in the standings. Whoever has the fortune of playing the Marlins next could likely make up some ground or create separation. The Colorado Rockies are sitting at 21-69, which still has them on pace for breaking the record just recently established last year, but they’ve played a bit better in June to make up some ground, but when you’re bad, a 15 game losing streak is always possible. Just ask the Yankees.
As always, keep it clean and come out dooming. – GH
