The TKO Era

I know at the end of the day WWE is a business and the main objective when you run a business is to make as much money as humanly possible. I know other sports have ads plastered everywhere. But how sad is it that a morally bankrupt pervert like Vince McMahon had, at least a little, more business integrity than this regime? Yes, you're making money but it looks absolutely ridiculous when your ringside setup looks like a NASCAR vehicle.
Worlds Collide yesterday was so refreshing to see a clean canvas. I'll take a simple WWE/AAA logo any day over what we get now.
When I first heard the blurb about the “Slim Jim tables” I thought it was something from a parody site, but no, apparently it's real. At least I've heard of Slim Jims, though. Most of the trash ads they plaster all over everything on their worldwide product are for local or niche products that I've never heard of before or never seen in a store. Last night's show (which I'll review tonight because I was at ZZ Top) was sponsored by Cash App, which I don't even think is available outside of the US. It's all so tacky and soulless. I hope the wrestlers are at least getting the bag now while they can, because just wait until the board decides that it's time to sell off the company for parts and cash out.
