Evening Daily News Update – June 4th, 2025
By Garth Holmberg on 4 June 2025
FROM THE PAGES OF THE BOD MAGAZINE, HERE’S UPDATE!
Greetings and Salutations, Blog Otters. It’s Wednesday, and you know what that means… it’s AEW Fyter Fest, a special 4-hour block of All Elite Wrestling! I’m still unsure of the decision for this (TNT isn’t running the Stanley Cup Finals on Saturday), but hey, the people will watch what they are interested in, and the last hour will likely be a flaming dumpster fire. If you don’t feel like dedicating the entire evening to AEW, you can check out WWE Evolve.
Liv Morgan’s Stalker Arrested
Among the details is that the alleged stalker was in possession of several bags of evidence… I’m not going to try and turn that into a joke. It’s absolutely pathetic how often we see news like this, like it’s THAT hard to be a normal, functioning member of society.
TNA Impact Replaying For Free on YouTube
If you don’t have access to TNA Impact, you can watch new episodes of Impact every Friday all Summer. It appears that TNA is ready for its next boom period, after many believed the loss of Scott D’Amore was the end of all good things. Tommy Dreamer is still lurking, but I guess you take the bad with the good news.
YOUTUBE SPOTLIGHT
In June 2011, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin scheduled a match that kick-started a CM Punk movement. Watch the “Summer of Punk,” from the career-defining “Pipe Bomb” to the first live contract negotiation to Punk’s legendary match at Money in the Bank against John Cena and much more.
The Miami Marlins were swept by the Colorado Rockies. I guess that explains how the Philadelphia Phillies were able to pad their win/loss record. The lowly Rockies “improved” to 12-50, which is now just about as bad as the 1899 Cleveland Spiders. We applaud the members of the Rockies organization for crawling out of the hole reserved for the all-time dirt worst.
The BOD came to the conclusion that if AEW and WWE were to trade talent, Charlotte Flair would be the #1 pick to make the jump. Also, The Miz is going to show up and say “I’m The Miz and I’m Dy-No-Mite”. I also took a Tylenol PM a few minutes ago, I might not be long for this evening.
Jabroniville is back with more DREAM MATCHES, including Kurt Angle vs Marty Jannetty from an episode of Smackdown in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania Goes Hollywood. If the match took place today, people would laugh and guffaw at the idea that a top guy like Kurt Angle would need 15 minutes to beat a scrub like Jannetty, but screw that, it was a great TV match. Maffew has more Live Feed Mania, covering the Smackdown taping from August 1st, 2000. It’s always fun to check these out and see what was intended for the live crowd only, or to see footage without the final polish of production. If anyone missed or was curious about last night’s episode of NXT, Niz has it covered, including the debut of Ambrosia August.
You know the rules. Keep it clean, not hitting below the belt, the three knockdown rule is not in effect, and keep your guard up at all times… I think I lost the plot… like Rocky V! – GH (Obi Toppin’s #1 Fan!)
