Fits like a Glove

Might be a better question for the blog than you, but can you name someone who worked their way up outside of WWE that has fit in as perfectly as Penta has since coming over for the first time, and actually far exceeding expectations the way he has. The last person I can think of was AJ Styles, who now I cant imagine being anywhere but WWE. The way Penta has adjusted his style for WWE is incredible, and if you told me he be in the heavyweight title contention in 6 months from I would believe you. I don't think Fenix run has been bad so far, but what Penta has done is actually making Rey look underwhelming. I knew of Penta before, and obviously he has done some big things outside of WWE, but seeing him there now the dude is an excellent fit for what they are looking for.
Is he? I haven't been super impressed with what I've seen of him at Wrestlemania and Backlash.
Personally the greatest example was always Rick Rude, who came into the WWF as a mid-level character with no real meat to it, transitioned into being a top guy with a tremendous character, and then went BACK to WCW and somehow was even more perfect with that character on the second try and became an even bigger star.
