Internet Fans

Scott,
Isn’t it about time we got rid of the term “Internet Fans” when it comes to wrestling?
Why are we still pretending that the majority of fans don’t have phones and can’t go online whenever the hell they want?
I think it applies to any TV show or sport really where people that are in to it are going to post online about it on blogs and social media and it’s not limited to a smaller niche subset anymore like it was last century.
It’s also easy to tell the difference from the mass majority online and those that are being told to fuck off and the hardcore sickos.
What say you?

I think there's still a world of difference between average fans and the nutcases who are terminally online on Twitter and either arguing with Meltzer or sucking up to him based on how the wind blows. Not mentioning any names there of course.
