Age in the Cage

Hard as it may be to believe, John Cena (48) and Randy Orton (45) are roughly the same age as Hulk Hogan (45) and Ric Flair (50) when they competed in one of the most disastrous main events in history at WCW Uncensored 1999.

Cody Rhodes was seemingly working at half speed to allow Cena to keep up with him at WrestleMania and outside of Orton’s match with Gunther last year, neither has had a great one-on-one match in years.

Is there any chance that Cena vs. Orton deliver anything good at Backlash without a ton of smoke and mirrors thrown in?

Maybe, but people want the smoke and mirrors anyway so they might as well give it to them and not take the chance of a stinker.
