While there’s obviously plenty of bad things to say about VKM, I was wondering what you think about him both taking credit for good ideas AND taking the heat for bad ones. Yes, he has the final say on what was aired but should he really take the fall for bad ideas he himself didn’t come up with? I mean, Michael PS Hayes, Ranjin Singh, Road Dogg, and all those other guys likely made bad creative decisions on his watch so shouldn’t they take their share of the blame when something didn’t work?
Maybe, but Vince’s “Whatever happens is on me” attitude is why so many people followed him right to the edge and then off the cliff at the end. Because he was a leader and lead people. Except for when he was blaming Ted Turner or Bret Hart or Jim Crockett or the federal government or the courts or whatever. But the REST of the time.
