Mox Hate & what coulda been

Good morning Mr. Keith, hope all is well. Catching up on Revolution 22 and the great Mox/Danielson match. I remember marking out some of my hardest in the history of AEW when regal came out and slapped both men. And the Blackpool Combat Club was formed and i was in wrestling bliss when they were on screen. Then looking at your reviews, you were all in as well and wanting the tag-titles on them STAT! Then Yuta joins and you were ready for the trios belt to be made to put on them asap. Then the perfect inclusion of Claudio and we had one hell of a tweener stable with the perfect Manager.

But the bookers(TK) sure kept BCC all over the map with no solid direction. Feuds with Best Friends, Elite, JAS they just whisked through and the Anarchy in the Arenas & Blood & Guts were just pages in a chapter instead of feud enders. And when Regal left i just felt the balloon popped, even though the in ring talent was still there.
Looking at the first year of the BCC, Mox was shredded! He had the coolness to him to go along with “Wild Thing”. I'm as tired as most of The Death Riders and Mox still champ, but it really does come down to the bookers. A red hot stable that did the best they could with what little they were given, morphing into a cold stable that is not doing much with how much they are given. I'm glad Regal is living his retired dream but damn I do miss him and it hasn't been the same since he left.

Yeah it's really a shame that things ended like they did with him. I really miss him flirting with Excalibur on commentary and giving the BCC a lesson on piledrivers and such. He was such a difficult piece of the puzzle to replicate and the stable was never the same once he was gone.
