Wrestlers with incorrect managers

As a follow up to a recent question about Warlord and Harvey Wippleman, it made me think of instances where wrestlers seemed like they would be a better fit with another manager.
To me, Barbarian always seemed like an odd man out within the Heenan family, which seemed to comprise more of upper midcard legitimate athletes (Mr. Perfect) and tough guys (Rick Rude). Barbarian felt very over-the-top, and more suitable for Jimmy Hart.
Looking back at the 1980's/1990's manager groups, are there any “trades” you would do to make some better pairings?
Rick Martel with Slick was a weird pairing. I feel like he either needed Jimmy Hart or a female manager like Sherri instead. Jim Cornette and Vader didn’t feel like a main event pairing. Vader needed someone serious and menacing. Not sure who fit that bill at the time though.
