Why Cody?

Listen I know I'm in the minority here, but I just don't get how over Cody Rhodes is. And I can't see how or why it happened.
Was it literally something as simple as right place, right time? The fans were clamouring for something new, the pec injury helped and he didn't have the stain of years of 50/50 booking on him?
Or is he the main event guy that he seems to be, and his talent and charisma made him rise to the top.
I don't see 'the guy' when I look at him or watch him in the ring but I can't deny the reaction he gets and this will be his 3rd WrestleMania Main Event in a row. Guys that have been there years could only dream of that.
I'd be interested to hear your and the blogs thoughts on how and why Cody has got to the top.
Cody’s great. He was the right guy in the right place at the right time and he cashed in better than anyone I’ve almost ever seen outside of CM Punk. I absolutely see him as the guy.
