Kenny Omega Return

I don't know if you saw, but Kenny Omega made a special appearance at NJPW's Power Struggle event over the weekend, promoted he'll be at the Jan. 5th AEW/NJPW Event Wrestle Dynasty, that takes place in Japan, even did a lil angle with Gabe Kidd for a future match. Checked a lot of boxes for the future for him in NJPW.

Now I do love the AEW/NJPW relationship. I love that north america is getting to see great NJPW stars for maybe the first time, and vice versa in Japan. It is definitely starting to lose its luster though stateside when we see the same NJPW talents so much over such a short period, it really isn't feeling that special anymore, even Forbidden Door. Still, this wasn't possible 5 some years ago.
Now having said that, Kenny Omega IS AEW. AEW was the launch pad for Omega to really show America what all the talk is about. And he hasn't disappointed obviously. And he is sorely missed on tv after all this time. So WHY is one of the cornerstones of your promotion, returning on tv for the first time on another promotion? Why take that away for the AEW fanbase?!? I know it's not an in-ring return but TK can you calm down on focusing on other promotions so much and realize what's not working in yours first and foremost? I wouldn't be surprised if Kenny Omegas first match back is actually challenging for the ROH title of their first show on their new tv deal(if it's done).

Jericho said it was on Dynamite and I trust him.

And yeah, the Kenny stuff is weird. We’re probably getting Kenny and Tanahashi vs Young Bucks before any of them make it back stateside.
