Hey Scott,

Rick Martel would have heen a perfectly cromulent WWF Intercontinental champion back in the 80s if they went with him instead of Tito.
I'm not sure what you mean by “instead of Tito” because Martel was AWA World champion around the time that Tito was in the WWF in the 80s. I mean, yeah, he would have been fine but he was already very well known as a tag team champion in the WWF anyway and an established guy.
