The ROH Deal

A couple of months ago I e-mailed you about the purpose of ROH and TK's statements about it during tv negations that he ended with “…It’s an active conversation now and Ring of Honor is part of the bigger AEW discussions that we’re having.””.

Now that the tv deal is done and ROH is nowhere to be found on it's details, other than rumor and speculation(I didn't know TruTv was still around), what were they even going for with it and ahead?

I'm a Max subscriber, and the term “ppvs at a discounted price” is a kick in the nuts for me as a consumer. With what I was paying for the Network, peacock, and soon Netflix, , they are losing the better bang for your buck argument already. I could care less about ROH on tv, But for the fans that do, it's possible TK could want you to pay separate for both Honor Club and whatever Max may cost you? And then my worst fear is him going for a separate deal with ROH and great, now more ROH on my already bloated AEW tv.

No one seems to know what the deal is with ROH or why it even exists at this point. The last two World champions have just been regular characters on AEW TV, whereas the Women's champion is never even featured on AEW TV at all, so it's a bizarre whiplash where you don't even know where the “promotion” stands as a separate entity as a fan. It's not going anywhere or leading to anything, so just unify all the belts and move on, I think.
