Geographical Hit Rates

By Scott Keith on 14 October 2024

Hiya Scott

Something of a historian question, I guess.

Which cities/towns do you think have the highest hit rate for producing top, top guys over the last 50 years? If you were to do, say, a top 5?

Any notable “you wouldn't expect it” ones that have a surprisingly high return despite not really being seen as “wrestling towns” in that way?

Also, do you feel there's been a shift over time, or are the same “heartlands” of wrestler-generating in effect consistently?
Well obviously Western Canada has a hell of a hit rate. Florida has delivered some bangers traditionally. England in the past few years. I think overall the production is shifting overseas, which can only help expand the perception of what “good wrestlers” look like.
