Well he always did say “No hair, no Flair”, so…oh wait that was something different.
I think him putting it on the line against Terry Funk would have drawn something. Like Flair's hair against Funk's career at Clash 9 would have been a pretty significant draw. Doing that kind of thing as a heel would be less effective. I mean, they could have done it in 1990 as a way for him to get into the title hunt, I guess, where he wages his hair against Sting's title and then loses, giving Sting the ultimate humiliation on him. Plus he wanted to go super short for the Scorpion thing anyway.
