AEW during hotter times

I promise I'm not saying this to rag on AEW, I want to preface by saying I thoroughly enjoy AEW as im an in ring guy but remember Punks infamous interview when he compared his arrival along with Adam Cole and Bryan Danielson to the arrival of the The Outsiders to WCW? And said it felt like there's a shift happening similar to that. Boy did that age bad. Speaking of Cole, I feel bad for him. He was wrestling in NXT every week when he was World Champion with a screwed up wrist with no issues and has a freak accident at Forbidden Door 2 years ago and it's just been downhill ever since.
Apparently he broke up with Britt too. Poor guy just wants to play his video games and avoid conflict.
