1980’s Best Albums

Greetings Mr Keith,
I am a daily visitor to your site but not a commenter. Got banned 10+ years ago for reasons I don’t remember.
Anyway it seems I recall you are a fan of 80’s music, particularly glam metal. I started this Substack page a bit back to mostly write on football and golf but posted something today I think you might enjoy.
It’s a best albums of the 80’s review, which has been done to death, but with a new take: My premise was there was an essential album released in every single month of every year of the decade. Turns out that was false. But I’d say out of 120 months, 90% of them had a must buy album. I have listed honorable mentions for each month as well.
Dunno if this is something you want to post on your site (you certainly can if you want) but thats not really my purpose. I spent countless hours on this and just hoping more than 50 people read it like usual.
Hope you take 20-30 minutes for a walk down nostalgia lane.

I liked it! I don't like Alabama as much as you do apparently but I agree with a large swath of your opinions here, especially the appreciation for Rush. Definitely worth a read. I was also somewhat mystified that AC/DC hit it out of the park with Mutt Lange albums and then never went back again, but then I'm a huge fan of anything Mutt touches in that era so I'm decidedly biased on the matter.
