Hey Scott,
What kind of run and what longevity do you think Nick Bockwinkel would have had if he ended up winning the NWA world title with Bobby Heenan as his manager during the early 80s?

The new couch is about as much money we wanted to spend because it'll inevitably get destroyed by the dogs again, so in that regard it's doing fine. Thankfully our Sheltie has calmed down a lot since her puppy days so she doesn't outright eat the cushions anymore.
Anyway, I think Nick would have carried himself very well as NWA champion and definitely had the aura of the champion down, especially with Bobby. I can't see him as anything but a placeholder guy for Flair, though, like Harley Race putting Ric over at Starrcade 83 to make way for the next guy.
