There's obviously no doubt about Kazuchika Okada's wrestling ability, but are you a little surprised at how easily he immediately was able to play sleazy, kinda-chicken-shit, American TV wrestling heel? On Saturday and on Dynamite he looked like he was having the time of his life. Also, we're getting heel Rock cutting promos, Cody Rhodes seemingly becoming a megastar and Will Ospreay, Okada, Danielson, maybe Pac (and Jay White, who is really fucking good) wrestling weekly on North American television right now. When was the last time it was this fun to be a wrestling fan? 2000?
I'm kind of amused at everyone who is so shocked that OKADA of all people is really good at all aspects of wrestling, it turns out.
