Rankings!?!?!

Thoughts on the new AEW Rankings? I actually thought bringing them back was one of the better ideas Tony had. The rankings were never bad, it was always the execution. But it seems these they managed to make it even worse than last time and they will again be a sham. In what world is Roddy in the top 5? And if these rankings were coming out a month before Revolution why does Roddy already have a title match, which he just asked for and didnt earn in any way? I don't think anyone was dying for that match, use this as an opportunity for Roddy to earn the match thru the rankings on TV.
Also, why is it one top 5 ranking for multiple championships, how does that help decide who is a contender for one of the 29 belts they have? It's fine if you want to do that for the less important titles, but the main championships need to have their own bracket qt least or what's the point? Deonna and Mariah had two matches each and are already top 5? Skye Blue has lost like every big match she has been in, how does it make sense to have her in the rankings. They had a chance to do something cool here and it was once again bungled from the start. It just seems like a lazy approach to justify Tony making random matches.
The ROH Six Man champions ranked as #1 contenders for the AEW Six Man titles is the stupidest shit I’ve heard this week. I will continue ignoring this as I had been doing beforehand. Unless they do a weekly rundown on the shows and then I’ll probably do a bit.
