AEW needs a BIG angle….how’s aboot this?

I believe John Cena is not currently under WWE contract.
Yes. I'm saying TK pay the man something crazy like 10 million for 10 matches and 30 overall appearances, in a year or something. But simply signing Cena isn't enough. They have to do something interesting. AEW needs INTRIGUE bigtime. So why not do the thing we always wanted WWE to do? Turn Cena heel. But not just another lame half assed heel turn. Do it in such a way that it makes a huge impact. It MEANS something. It needs to be close to the level of the Hogan 96 turn. Here is my idea:
He ruins Stings retirement match. Not just that but he absolutely destroys Darby Allin in the process and then proceeds to OBLITERATE Sting. I mean leave him bloody. Then Cena can either go solo mega heel OR start a new nWo-ish stable. Either way Darby Allin is made as the man who goes after Cena first.
Alternate kinda watered down version if you think ruining Sting's final match itself is too mean spirited: have Sting win the match and then do the attack afterward or even on the proceeding Dynamite when he's giving his farewell speech or whatever. I'd still opt for Cena to ruin the match itself. I mean that's some heinous shit. Ruining a legend's final match. I think that would guarantee Cena getting some serious heel reactions would it not and it would create a stir simply beyond trotting out another old WWE guy. (plus you could always trot out Sting for one final final final we swear dream match with Cena)

There is a zero point zero zero chance that Cena was on WWE TV without a contract. Also trolling the fans with that kind of angle only makes them angry at the promotion and not the wrestler.
