Follow up to the “Different Finisher” discussion…
Who would have still gotten over with a different finisher? What should it be?
For example, Stone Cold is inseparable from his Stunner…but could he have gotten just as over with something else?
The Stunner was a primary piece of the Austin puzzle, but the guy who REALLY should have used a different finisher was Hulk Hogan. If he had made the Axe Bomber into his primary finish, he probably would be in a lot less pain today and would have been able to stretch his career even longer.
