There's a backstage story that Bret opined that the finish to his match at the 96 Rumble or the February IYH (don't remember which; it was designed to further the Undertaker/Diesel issue in any case) didn't do him any favours. That bellyache
supposedly caused Taker to blow his stack and yell “it's not all about you!” But here's the thing: Bret is one half of the WM main event, and ideally you build both guys up really strong and not make them look like paper champions/challengers. It kind of IS
