After watching this week’s Dynamite, the match that stood out to me the most was the one that technically meant nothing – Mark Briscoe vs. Jay Lethal.
Is there a more organically over babyface on the AEW roster right now? He’s got a ton of sympathy behind him for obvious reasons and his style of crazy redneck that’s just trying to win no matter the cost is a lot of fun to watch.
TK’s gotta find something worthwhile for this guy in 2024, right? Personally, I think having him feud with Christian Cage over the TNT Title could create some nuclear heat and an all time feel good moment at the end.
Man they gotta do something with the guy. It’s such an easy storyline and he’s a natural babyface. I never really appreciated how good they were when Jay was alive and it was really the FTR matches that turned the corner for me. Maybe team him up with Lethal as a babyface team and give them the ROH tag titles to start?
