Stone Cold Conundrum

Hi Scott,

Has the mystery of the Devil fallen into 'Who Ran Over Stone Cold' territory? I feel like it's gotten to the point where whichever direction they go, its bound to be a disappointment. Whether they go with the obvious choice of Adam Cole where everyone will say 'DUH! WE FIGURED THAT OUT WEEKS AGO!” or whether they go full on Rikishi and have Evil Uno as the Devil with Dark Order as the henchman doing all of this for their old friend Hangman Page, that's its going to be a major letdown?

I wonder if the injuries to Cole and MJF have forced them to continue this storyline longer than they wanted to in order to give them the needed time off. I just feel that they've booked themselves into a corner where there is no good way out that will make everyone go “WOW! Didn't see that coming but it's pretty awesome!”

I was over it long ago. I think the injuries really botched the flow of the storyline, but much like the Statlander deal, Tony Khan is 100% dedicated to only ever seeing his singular vision for the storyline to the finish no matter how long we have to wait for the payoff.
