Truth be told
By Scott Keith on 1 December 2023
Of all the returns this weekend to WWE programming, R-Truth has me most entertained. I don't know if I've ever enjoyed a skit of his as much as the interaction with Judgement Day on RAW, except maybe him cracking Brock Lesnar up back in 2020.
If you had told me in 2000 when he debuted as K-Kwik on RAW that he'd still be on RAW in 2023, with close to 20 years of service in the WWE/F, looking barely a day older than when he debuted, and more entertaining now than he was then, I would have never believed it.
Wrestling always has a place for comedy relief, and Ron Killings has done it about as well as it can be done while seeming to be universally liked backstage. Who else is up there with such a bizarrely long and entertaining career from such a low spot on the card?
Thanks!
He’s fairly unique. The territory days used to produce lots of long running guys though. Memphis especially, where Truth would have fit right in.
