Hey, Scott:

Getting into the (American) Thanksgiving spirit down here by watching the 1987 Survivor Series, as one does.

And, Great Caesar's Ghost, that Bam Bam Bigelow performance is something else. He pins both King Kong Bundy and One Man Gang. (I assume, to that point, the only on-camera pins of either were by Hogan on one of the regional east coast cable networks.)

Bammer is allowed to look (relatively) athletic with his goofy somersaults and tumbling maneuvers in a match filled mostly with slugs, before succumbing to Andre in the end.

Obviously, we know how/why Bam Bam's nuclear push fizzled out. My question to you and the lil' Doomers: has there ever been a wrestler made to look like a million bazillion bucks in one night (or over a relatively short period) who, for whatever reason, didn't reach the top of the mountain?
