So according to Billy Corgan, the previous owner of the NWA tried to sell it to WWE in 2017. Vince declined and deemed it worthless. I would agree for the most part. Given that there's a new owner and NWA mark Triple H, at least, has some considerable pull…do you think they would buy it for peanuts if it was ever offered? Wouldn't they want it for the tape library (Houston I believe?) and the actual physical NWA World title for a future Hall of Fame exhibit?

I honestly think at some point with NXT going to broadcast network television and becoming a major 3rd brand, they should consider turning “Level Up” to an actual minor league show. NWA really could serve that purpose.

I don’t see any particular value to the brand when they already own all the footage and trademarks that have any relevance. They can wait out Corgan’s final flame out and get it in bankruptcy proceedings.
