D’Lo

I’ve been watching a lot of D’Lo Brown stuff on YouTube thanks to the recent Heat uploads by Monsoon Classic and it got me thinking about something. D’Lo was used pretty consistently from 1997 (when he was the only one kept in the Nation of Domination) through the Summer of 1999, after he lost the IC/European Titles. It seems like he got lost in the shuffle after that. The team with Godfather went nowhere, and the less said about Lo Down, the better.

Do you think that coincides more with the departure of Russo in 1999, heat over the Droz injury, or was it just a case of D’Lo running his course?

The Droz injury. D'Lo lost confidence in himself and they lost confidence in him and it was a vicious cycle that he couldn't get out of.
