Website redesign

Did I miss a memo? What’s up with this redesign? I mean it’s beautiful and I quite like it, but has this been in the works for awhile or sort of impromptu?

Oh it’s been in the works for a while. There was a temp site that went up a few months ago but things got delayed for various reasons and the final launch happened yesterday. For those who don’t know, the site was running on a very ancient WordPress theme called GeneratePress and was giving all kinds of problems on the backend. The one that had been driving me nuts for years was Disqus and getting it to integrate properly with the site, and that’s been fixed and then some. Also you’ll note that things are loading faster and running smoother now, especially on mobile. Best of all I didn’t have to do anything because other, smarter, people do all the work now!
