Going Backwards

As an AEW fan, I find myself getting annoyed at the current presentation, specifically continuing to book arenas and it being at least half darkened out to hide not filling the seats.
What would be a worse look for them: continuing as is, or starting to book smaller more intimate places (Hammerstein Ballroom type sites) where it looks & feels better, but it is an omission that they can't fill the Big places anymore & are downloading in a way?
I personally don't see a problem with doing the TV shoots in locations that only are meant for a few thousand & saving the 10K places for Pay Per Views, but I can see how Tony Khan would view that as a defeat in his continued goal to be as good or better than WWE…
Really we don’t know what his goal is. If it’s making money then he’s doing fine. But yes, they should 100 percent move to smaller and quirkier arenas for a while. Do some college campus outreach like WCW used to do.
