I was listening to Bischoff (I know, I know) talk about the possibility of Edge jumping to AEW the other day and he was questioning whether that would be good for Edge's legacy given AEW's poor track record with former WWE talent. I'll be the first to admit that AEW creative is far from perfect and that there are a lot of guys who haven't been used to their full potential, but is their track record with those who jump really that bad?
I'd say Jericho, Moxley, Brodie Lee, the Hardys, Danielson, Cole, Christian, FTR, Joe, Strong, Saraya, Toni Storm and Ruby are all at the very least content with their spot relative to where they were, and in most cases better off. KOR seemed to be on that track as well until the injury.
On the other side you have guys like Malakai, Andrade, Miro, Swerve, Keith Lee and Buddy Matthews. All have been disappointing to a certain extent, but it would be hard to call any of them failures. Well, maybe Andrade, but screw that guy.
What do you think? On the basis of legacy and creative (we know the money and schedule would be good), if you were Edge would you be afraid to jump given AEW's track record?
I think if TK gives him the money that TKO won't, then it's worth it for him to jump.
