To become a top guy in wrestling has always been a very difficult task, but in your opinion, who (not named McMahon) had the easiest path to becoming a top guy? Not to say that person didn't work hard, but compare them to say Jericho who had no help with getting into the world of wrestling and only made it to the top through drive and determination.
In terms of short term pushes to be a top guy, does anything compare to Jinder Mahal simply existing and the company planning a tour where he is from?
Cheers and all the best.
It's not like Jinder didn't “pay his dues”, because he was around for ages and had to work through the 3MB nonsense for years. And I would have been fine with him getting the US title to pay off the push towards the Asia tour.
Really, it's probably a nepo-baby who wins the award here. I don't know if the Gulas territory qualifies as big enough but that's certainly a candidate. You can even argue that the Von Erichs were pushed way before they were ready and it's only because the territory exploded that it was justifiable after the fact. But hey, if we want to narrow it down within that, then Mike Von Erich is probably the answer.
