During the 1987-88 timeframe, when Sherri was also playing Peggy Sue with Honky Tonk Man, was it common knowledge that it was actually Sherri? This would have been at the same time that she was the women’s champion.
It also dawned on me that Sherri was the only one who really “feuded” for lack of better term with Elizabeth. Between the Savage/HTM feud, Sherri managing Savage and Liz with Dusty and Sapphire at Mania 6 and then her saving Savage at Mania 7.
Yes it was definitely common knowledge. Honky Tonk was never known for subtlety in his storytelling.
