Clash 20

I going back through all the original Clash of the Champions and I’ve arrived at #20 – the 20th Clash and the 20th anniversary of wrestling on TBS. My question – what is with this show???

The production value is atrocious (the flashbacks all look like they’re from the ‘60s, even though they’re all obviously from the ‘70s or later), and the reliance on Bruno trying to get over the concept of the wrestling of the past being the wrestling of the future is Bill Watts at his worst. Plus, the Andre appearance is just sad.

To supplement my viewing, I went back and checked out your review of the show – I was honestly surprised how positive it was. Any chance for a redo? I’d love to know your fresh perspective on it.
