Save Farris!

Is it just me or should the Honky Tonk Man not be on TV each week, demanding Gunther faces an HTM picked opponent, in an effort to preserve his title record? Call it “Save Farris” and print t-shirts and make millions.
I mean, I like Gunther well enough, but Honky's record is a special part of my wrestling fandom and I don't think Gunther should break it. But I also doubt that WWE would want to meet Honky's ridiculous asking price for appearances to carry on with that kind of gag, so I'm afraid it's probably just going to end in Gunther setting the new record and relegating Honky to #2. But he's still the greatest in my heart.
