Wrestlemania 39: Cody Rhodes defeats Roman Reigns for the Undispited Championship.
Backlash: Cody Rhodes, Sami Zayn, and KO defeat Roman Reigns and The Usos in a winner take all six man tag team match in the main event. Cody pins Jey after a miscommunication with an interfering Solo Sikoa. Post-match Roman is not pleased with Jey.
Night of Champions: Sami and KO defeat The Usos in a 2 out of 3 falls tag team match, the last in their series. Post-match Sami and KO offer The Usos a handshake which they return. A backstage vignette afterwards shows Roman is none too happy about this. The main event is a WM rematch between Cody and Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship. Cody defeats Roman when Jimmy finally turns on Reigns much like he did at this show for real. The next Smackdown Jey tells Jimmy “You out! And I’m out, too” before superkicking Roman! Cody moves on to feud with Brock Lesnar.
Money in the Bank: The Bloodline implodes! The Usos take on Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa in a huge tag team match . Very similar to the match they had irl but the finish is different as Reigns manages to steal the win for his team.
Summerslam: Jey Uso finally gets to face off with Roman Reigns in a no holds barred grudge match. In the build Roman brutalizes Jimmy Uso leaving him hospitalized, while Solo Sikoa is torn between siding with cousin Roman or his brother Jey. Ultimately Solo sides with Jey and hits Reigns with a Samoan spike allowing his brother to get the feel good win.
