Delayed Forever, Epilogue
By Scott Keith on 26th July 2023
So… Nintendo Switch eShop lists the next release DLC For Fight Forever on July 25th (featuring a wrestler we haven't seen in months and Keith Lee, who is at least a reasonable addition). Well, THQ Nordic tweeted (or X'ed) out earlier today that those dates are incorrect and they'll release information when it comes available. Now we have DLC dates not matching up, and hey what about that Stadium Stampede they teased? The online community is already dead, and not launching with that was probably a huge mistake. I thought the game was fun, but man if this isn't another black eye on an already troubled partnership.
Yeah it's kind of weird and annoying because I had already paid for all the DLC with the Elite edition and now we're waiting for them to essentially just drop new character models and they can't do it for whatever reason. And yeah the Stadium Stampede mode feels like the kind of thing that really should have launched with the game as well. I'm picking away at the 100 exhibition matches here and there so I can get Owen Hart but mostly I'm onto Arcade Paradise as my daily game now, so hopefully they get some content in there again soon. I need Hook and Danhausen like I was promised!
