The Owen Hart Tournament – where are the stakes?

I'm still amazed AEW hasn't added any stakes to this tournament the second time around. What, exactly, are these people fighting for? Is it really just for a shiny belt? Wouldn't it make a lot more sense to at least stipulate that the winner is promised a future title shot?

I think it's fine for some of these characters to simply really care that much about Owen Hart's legacy, but it's a bit hard to buy into the idea that even a supposedly vile heel like Rubo Soho wants to win the tournament for no other reason than to honor Owen Hart's memory.

Maybe she’s doing it to mess with the other ladies and prevent them from honouring Owen’s memory?
