The fall of Roma

Scott- following up on that great article about Roma vs Wright.

2 questions.

1. Do you think Orndorff was sent out there as an audible to kind of tug the leash on Roma a little bit? We know Orndorff wasn’t a guy who took any shit. So maybe it was an “easy boy- play ball here” to Roma or do you think it was planned?

2. Also- it was pretty evident that Roma wasn’t doing a great job of cooperating. Do you think if that match was in wwf(e) at the time they would have found a way to get the match over sooner?

And that elbow drop was pretty freaking sweet.

Nobody ever said Roma didn’t have a sweet elbowdrop, you have to give him that.
I don’t think I’ve ever heard anything about Orndorff being sent out there to police him. The shows weren’t exactly tightly produced in the ring at that point.
