What even is this with Wardlow?

Is this his new gimmick now? Failed TNT champion who can't hold on to the belt? I just don't see where you go from here with the guy. Yet another run at the TNT title to win it back and promptly lose it again a month later? That's death for a babyface.

Either way, I think Wardlow's presentation could use some help anyway. I'm not a fan of the shorter tights, more generic hair, or outdated-sounding screaming rock song as an entrance theme. Adding a clumsy senile Arn Anderson didn't exactly help. His catchphrase of “Wardlow's World” was basically DOA too.

Combined with this booking pattern he's stuck in, he could stand to disappear for a while and come back as a heel.

I think he’s riding out his contract and going to WWE eventually. Makes the most sense.
