Setting the world on fire? Really?

I got pushback in the comments yesterday when I said that MJF's title reign isn't exactly setting the world on fire. I like MJF and think he's a great talent, but what am I missing? Ratings are down. Attendance is down. The international title feels more relevant than the world title. MJF barely wrestles, but unlike Roman, doesn't have a hot angle to keep viewers hooked.
Again, I'm not knocking his talent. He's great on the mic and when he does wrestle it's usually awesome. And, if his run has been underwhelming, I don't even necessarily blame him. But if you think he's “setting the world on fire”, then you and I have a far different understanding of that phrase. Agree? Disagree?
I don't think he's “setting the world on fire” and I don't think he's a disaster as champion either. He's just kind of stuck in a position with no viable money drawing challengers at the moment.
