Jeff Jarrett, heel/face and NWA

Hey Scott:

I was thinking about this today…why when Jeff Jarrett came to WWE did he ever become a heel? He was a lifetime babyface going into the company and he could have still been a midcard guy without the spelling gimmick. Who are some wrestlers that have surprised you over the years who were heels or faces early in their careers. My biggest surprise was when Kerry Von Erich played heel very early in his career when David was in Florida. Also, do you watch any NWA at all anymore?

I watch the clips that the Outrunners post on Twitter but that's about it.

Anyway weirdest for me was young Ricky Rood in Mid-Atlantic as a clean shaven rookie babyface. That dog don't hunt.
