Hi Scott, I just read Jabroniville’s awesome breakdown of the infamous HHH-Steiner debacle from Royal Rumble 2004. He talked about how HHH had terrible in-ring instincts of anyone at his level. So what was it about 2000 that it all clicked? He had ok to good matches before that and was genuinely awful in a lot of matches post injury. But in 2000 he was elite. Was it just the opponents or something else?
Combination of the quad injury and the buckets of steroids that ballooned him way past where his body could carry the weight comfortably.
