Scott,
I hope you are well. Just a few questions for you on 1986-87 Jim Crockett promotions question.
In hindsight was the Nikita Koloff turn a mistake in the long term? It was an all-time pop, but, would it have been better to keep him as a top heel?
If Jim Crockett had provided Rick Rude a contract in 1987 how long do you keep the tag titles on Ravishing and Raging?
With further appreciation of Ron Garvin and Wahoo McDaniel (I am not sure you are aware of this but Greg Valentine once broke Wahoo's leg) how many teenyboppers in the Carolina's would have fainted in 1986 if Garvin/Wahoo faced The Rock 'n Roll Express?
Koloff had hit the ceiling as a heel and definitely needed a babyface turn to stay in the mix with Dusty.
I think RnR were always a speed bump for the Rock N Rolls and weren’t ever intended as long term guys.
That last one would certainly be….interesting.
