Hogan and the Gawker lawsuit

I watched the Rich & Shameless episode today about it. While nobody comes off looking good, Gawker comes off looking the worst. What's your take on the whole thing? Thanks.
Gawker was like sub-Twitter blue check “citizen journalism” garbage when they released that tape. They deserved to be sued out of existence.
Also I don’t even know where that show aired so I’m assuming it’s something that wasn’t shown up here?
