How consequential do you believe the WWE sale to Endeavor will be?
Vince McMahon has had business acumen that seem visionary when looking ahead five years. The first was taking over the company from his father, putting Hogan on top, Rock & Wrestling and going national. WWF survived while territories perished. He went in early on pay-per-view and cable TV. He later would cannibalize pay-per-view revenues by pushing the WWE Network, enabling the Peacock deal at the height of the streaming boom.
If the sale follows this five-year pattern, where do you see WWE as a business in five years?
Still making a shitload of money. They're pretty much unkillable at this point.
