Hey Scott:
The BOD is my favorite wrestling website by far and I love your sarcastic humor. I've learned much from you regarding the business. The thing I have never understood though is the role of a producer in regards to a match or segment. Could you please explain that to me? I'd appreciate it. Thanks and keep snarking.
Basically their role as I understand it is to decide how long the match runs, what the finishing sequence looks like, and the general flow and pace of the match. Personally I think the world was fine when guys just called it in the ring and learned as they went based on crowd reactions, but that's the business now.
