Split the Belts

I think the best option would have been to give someone an ultra rub by beating Roman at Mania. Not personally convinced that guy should have been Cody, but the crowd clearly was on board.

Since they passed on that, in an effort to avoid the inevitable injury you mentioned in response to a different email, why not just make a two falls triple threat match where Roman drops a belt without eating a pin like they did with Angle back in 2000? It's a cop-out end to the reign, but it would give them some booking breathing room to play with while leaving Roman to get the 1000 day run they seem to be aiming for.

I'd rather they actually have him get beaten, but I don't see who they would even go that route with at this point.

There’s a million ways to split the belts again and yeah, the triple threat option was there for sure. You could go the route where Roman makes Solo defend a title for him and change it that way too.
